Sauerkraut Apple Cake |
Chicken Casserole | |
1 can of boned or left over chicken | 1 can chow mien noodles |
1 can mushroom soup | 1 can cream of chicken soup |
1-2 soup cans of milk | |

Granola | |
3 cups rolled oats | 1 cup coconut |
3 cups chopped nuts | 1/4 cup wheat germ |
2 teasp. cinnamon | 1/4 cup melted butter or oil |
1/4 cup honey | |

Sauerkraut Apple Cake | |
Combine and beat | 2 tablsp. molasses |
1 1/2 cup sugar | |
1 cup oil | |
Add to molasses mixture | 4 eggs |
Mix together and blend in with above | 2 cups flour |
2 teasp. baking powder | |
1 teasp. baking soda | |
1 teasp. salt | |
2 teasp. cinnamon | |
1/2 teasp. nutmeg | |
Stir in by hand to above mixture | 1 can sauerkraut, rinsed & drained - 16 ox |
1 finely chopped apple - peeled and cored | |
1 cup pecans | |

MIX: | |
1-1/2 cup flour | 1/4 cup sugar |
2 teasp. baking powder | 1/2 teasp. cinnamon |
1/4 teasp. salt | 1/8 teasp. nutmug |
STIR in 1 cup shredded apples. | |
COMBINE till blended then add to dry ingredients till just moistened. | |
1 beaten egg | 1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup oil | |
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake 350 deg. for 45-50 minutes. |
